Tidewater Trove ships anywhere in the U.S. for a flat $8 per necklace by USPS, and orders usually arrive in 5–8 business days. Unworn ready-to-ship jewelry can be returned within 14 days of delivery.

- Cost: $8 flat rate for necklaces.
- Timing: please allow 2–3 business days for Rachel to prepare your order before it ships by USPS. Delivery then typically takes 3–5 business days, depending on your location, so plan on about 5–8 business days in all.

Every piece is made from unique materials, many with histories spanning generations. Rachel wants you to love your purchase and shop with confidence.
Returns
Eligible, unworn, ready-to-ship jewelry can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging. Please contact Rachel before sending a return so she can give you return instructions.
Final sale items
- Custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale and can’t be returned, exchanged or refunded for a change of mind. This includes personalized jewelry, specially sourced materials and custom charm combinations.
- Earrings are final sale for hygiene reasons.
- Sale and clearance items are final sale.
Return shipping
You’re responsible for return shipping costs unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect. Original shipping charges aren’t refundable.
Damaged or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact Rachel within 48 hours of delivery with photos so she can make things right.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

Tidewater Trove pieces often feature authentic antique pottery and river glass. Natural variations, imperfections and signs of age are part of their history and unique charm.
Caring for your piece
Jewelry
Tidewater Trove jewelry is made with 18-karat gold-filled hardware, authentic Potomac River pottery and glass, and carefully selected beads and semi-precious stones. To keep your piece looking its best:
- Avoid long exposure to water, perfume, lotion and harsh chemicals.
- Take your jewelry off before swimming, showering or exercising.
- Clean it gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Store it in a dry place when you’re not wearing it.
- Handle the antique pottery and river glass charms with care, since these historic materials can be delicate.
Gold-filled jewelry is made for lasting beauty and resists tarnish better than gold-plated jewelry.
Serving boards and home goods
Each serving board features carefully preserved historic pottery or river glass sealed beneath food-safe resin. Once the resin is fully cured according to the manufacturer’s instructions, it’s suitable for the food-contact uses the manufacturer specifies, and the wooden serving surface has a food-safe finish. To care for your board:
- Hand wash gently with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap as needed.
- Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher.
- Dry it thoroughly after cleaning.
- Don’t cut directly on the resin.
- Keep it away from high heat, and never put it in the microwave or oven.
